All participating families reported that the workshop instructions and activities were either Very Easy or Mostly Easy to follow, demonstrating the accessibility of the program for elementary and middle school students.
Most participating families expressed interest in attending future Regency Robotics workshops, while the remaining respondents indicated they may attend, reflecting strong community interest in the program.
Program Growth
Since its launch in April 2026, Regency Robotics has continued to evolve through participant feedback, hands-on testing, and recurring library workshops. Each event has expanded the program's educational offerings while refining the implementation model for future library partners.
Program growth since launch includes:
Increased participation from 9 to 12 students
Expansion from 3 to 6 engineering activity stations
Addition of Dinosaur Rescue Mission, Crazy Frog Programming Challenge, and Robot Art Studio
Continued support from LED Robotics student volunteers
Recognition by Tampa Bay 28 ABC News
Ongoing development of the RAIL implementation framework for expansion to additional libraries
Summary
The evaluation results from both workshops demonstrate that Regency Robotics continues to provide an engaging, accessible, and sustainable model for introducing robotics and engineering concepts in public libraries. Feedback from students and families directly informs future workshop improvements and supports the continued expansion of the RAIL framework.
