Founder, RAIL (Robotics Advancement in Libraries)
I am a high school robotics student and aspiring aerospace engineer focused on expanding access to STEM education through community-based engineering programs.
I founded RAIL (Robotics Advancement in Libraries), a community initiative designed to bring hands-on robotics education to public libraries through sustainable and replicable workshop programs.
As part of this initiative, I created Regency Robotics, the pilot RAIL program at Regency Park Library. Regency Robotics is an ongoing library-based robotics workshop program developed as part of my Girl Scout Gold Award project which introduces students to hands-on robotics, engineering, and problem-solving activities through community outreach and STEM workshops.
In addition to leading Regency Robotics workshops at Regency Park Library, I have presented the program at STEMapalooza and other Girl Scout STEM outreach events while contributing to FIRST Robotics Competition robot development and mentoring younger students through hands-on STEM activities. I am also a member of the National Honor Society.
This portfolio highlights my engineering projects, leadership experience, robotics outreach initiatives, and community impact work.
Robotics Advancement in Libraries (RAIL)
RAIL (Robotics Advancement in Libraries) is a community initiative I created to help public libraries provide hands-on robotics and STEM programming for youth. The program began with the Regency Robotics pilot at Regency Park Library and is designed to be replicated at additional library locations. RAIL provides libraries with activity guides, equipment recommendations, volunteer resources, and implementation materials that make it easier to launch sustainable robotics workshops.
